sleep-deprivation continues......

i overslept this morning. ususally, i arrive at work between 4:10 and 4:25am. today, i finally woke up at 4:30, and that was only because the alarm on my cell phone went off and i couldn't find it. then it took me a couple of minutes to process that the numbers on the clock said 4:30, and i better get my butt out of bed or i would miss my 5:09:30 break and the weather from yesterday would play. although the weather has pretty much been the same for the last week, so maybe nobody would have noticed.

A is supposed to come babysit today. P read KidOne the riot act last night about being a nice, polite boy. i'm amazed A continues to come back, since KidOne and KidTwo have given her a pretty hard time this summer. i babysat a LOT as a teenager, and i'm not sure if i would have continued to babysit kids that behaved the way mine have at times this summer.

it's the last weekend before school. not sure what we'll do to end vacation with a bang. KidOne wants to miniature golf, KidTwo wants to see "march of the penguins." i'm sure both want to eat out at a restaurant. then the craziness of the school year starts monday. KidTwo has her first soccer practice from 4:30-5:30, then we have open house at the school from 6:30-7:30. the first day of school is tuesday. and KidOne's soccer practice will start sometime next week, as well.

so, after having relatively little to do the last couple of weeks, we will be thrust into the school year and fall activities all at once.
