1:00 p.m.

volunteered at the school this morning and then had lunch with KidOne in the cafeteria. hot dog, french fries, a no-bake cookie (first i've heard of these), grapes, and chocolate milk. not too bad. i told KidOne i'm never coming on salisbury steak day. i have to draw the line somewhere.

after lunch, we went out to recess. basically about one hundred first and second graders racing around like loons. KidOne says the coolest thing about first grade is two recesses.

all in all, a fun morning.

so sad howie got voted off bb6 last night. not that i'm crazy about howie, i just wanted to see April pass out when she was evicted. oh well.......

can't wait for survivor to start next week!

not sure how i feel about family amazing race....looks like it could be annoying. of course, that doesn't mean i won't watch it anyway.

no big plans for the weekend. 2 soccer games tomorrow. mow the lawn. work on quizzes.

if i'm lucky....take a nap. oh, and the kids' school is collecting school supplies for hurricane survivors in lousiana, so we'll go out and buy a buttload of pencils, crayons, notebooks, folders, etc. it's nice to do something.........
