i'm wondering who's running vh1 these days, because they have some strange shows.....

there's celebrity fit club and surreal life which have been going for more than one season and are freaky at times, but there are new ones that are even weirder.

watched the premeire of "breaking bonaduce" last night. it's a reality show that chronicles danny bonaduce and his wife gretchen's experience with therapy after danny has an affair. it was really intense and uncomfortable to watch. but also just fascinating. and apparently, after falling off the wagon and beginning an addiction to painkillers, danny attempts suicide. that part was not filmed by vh1, because that would be completely unethical and freaky. i'll definitely be tuning in again.

then there's "my fair brady" (i think that's what it's called), where christopher knight (peter brady) and adrienne somebody, try to figure out their relationship. the two met as cast members during the last season of "surreal life." he's like 47, and she's 22. the oddest moment of the show so far is when florence henderson (mamma brady) comes for a visit to meet (judge) adrienne. i guess mrs. brady is a licensed therapist, and the lunch basically turns into a therapy session. weird. but, again, interesting enough that i'll be watching.

i know, i know, i watch way too much tv......
